WTWTA x Crailtap

Found this little contest amusing that Crailtap did to give away a series of Where the Wild Things Are skate decks. They titled it Where the Wild Things Ought To Be. Edit Max or the Wild Things into some photos or video and then submit. May the best man win. Here are what I've found to be some of the better entries...

Two Weeks

Dear blogosphere readers,

I've been terrible with this. Okay, okay. Summer is over. Fall is here. Winter is approaching at a steady pace. I've definitely got some hankerings to go ski, but its still a ways away, so I'll continue to be patient. I find myself in a consistent, dedicated pattern during the winter months, which enables this blog to become a little more consistent as well. Due to the spontaneity of this past summer's adventures, I have lost the reins on this little sucker and I apologize for that, but as the seasons change I vouch to pump some life back into this little corner of the internet. So please, bare with me. It will get better in due time. For those of you that I have lost, I apologize. For those that have stayed, I thank.
I once knew a man that asked, "What are you going to do with your life now that Patrick Swayze died?" I have no idea how that fits into this, but think about it...its a deep one.

Thanks again.
Your grief stricken author,

And on that note, I rely on the only semi-consistent thing from this blog, the regurgitation posting format. So here is a long look at what I've been looking at for the past while...

Looking thru the B-Sides from Golden Lucky on Vimeo.

COMBO a collaborative animation by Blu and David Ellis (2 times loop) from blu on Vimeo.

No_keyframes from 1st on Vimeo.

Machu Picchu Post from Machu Picchu Post Team on Vimeo.

These Two...

Been a bit. I'll have some solid material soon. But nothing as solid as this game of skate between Chris Cole x Dennis Busenitz. Ish was fire. For real. Watch it. (For those of you who don't like foul language, turn it down. For those of you who do, turn it up.)

eX Games

Here's some photos and video from the whole shibang a month ago...

Went to a bunch of different events. The whole production side of things with X is insane. TV schedules, strict itineraries, chop chop chop. You're late for your start, you get the axe. Anyway, these videos are some of the highlights of the events I went to, as well as the DC x Monster Party at Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory. Just a bunch of randoms at most. Enjoy...

Highlights of the whole gig were...
- Watching BCT! aka Lyn-z Adams Hawkins win Gold at Women's Skateboard Vert
- Ashley Fiolek getting it done on the last lap and taking Gold in Women's Motocross
- Salt Lake kid Adam Dyet getting 3rd in Men's Skateboard Street
- Pretty much anything going on at the Staple's Center

BCT Backside claiming the top spot.

Ang more than stoked to be getting the cliche shot.

1. P. Rod 2. Nyjah Huston 3. Adam Dyet - Today Was a Good Day

I think this is Andy Mac...could be wrong. I like the bird in the sky.

Thanks BCT for carting me around and providing a great weekend!
