Mother do you think they'll drop the bomb?

Pink Floyd's music has been a huge influence to me growing up. If the time I spent with Pink Floyd had been applied to my scholastic endeavors, I'm sure I would have received much higher marks. But their influence on me has lead to some enlightening experiences that no educational facility could ever teach. When people ask the question, "If you could see any band who would it be?" Mine would definitely be Pink Floyd. I guess there is still a possibility of that being fulfilled, but for the time being The Australian Pink Floyd Show came through Salt Lake and I couldn't pass it up. It was crazy to see a stadium full of people who paid an average of $50 per ticket coming to see a cover band. The show's focus was in recreating The Wall, which they did quite well, by following the theme presented in their movie under the same name.
Once through their main act, they came back for the encore and played Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Wish You Were Here, One of These Days (equipped with the pig!) and a few others. Good stuff.
